  • What is the difference between sugaring and waxing?

Both are a form of hair removal. Sugaring is done all by hand, and is an all natural product, made up of sugar, honey and lemon.

  • How do I know if I want a Balayage, Ombre, or Highlights?

Ombre is the blending of one color hue to another, usually moving tints and shades from dark to light.

Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep." This is a hand-painted technique where highlights are swept onto the surface of hair. Balayage highlights are usually just a few shades lighter than your natural base color, giving your locks natural depth and dimension.

Highlighting is a method of isolating hair in foil to achieve a desired look. Highlights can be natural or dramatic depending on desired outcome. Highlights achieve the highest level of lifting out of all three options.

  • How often should I schedule haircut appointments to maintain my style?

In order to maintain your current style, we recommend scheduling service every 6-8 weeks, longer hair can go every 8-12 weeks. Men's haircuts usually require styling every 4-6 weeks.

  • How often should my child's hair be washed?

Depending on age and activities, every child is different. Children between 1-9 years old should have their hair washed three times a week. Once a child hits prepubescent ages, shampooing and even clarifying will be required more, shampooing sometimes daily.

Children involved in sports activities should almost always wash their hair the same day, especially after swimming.
