"She believed she could, so she did!"

Gina’s hair journey began at the age of 6 when she decided to cut her sister's ponytail off. Yes, you read that right! Growing up, she always knew she was destined to be a hairstylist. Immediately after high school, Gina went to the European Academy of Cosmetology. While in school she started working at Avanti Hair Studio which led her to Studio D in Montclair. She worked for Studio D for 10 years before taking the leap to co-owner with Danielle. During her career she has studied with Milbon USA, obtaining her certification in Japanese hair straightening and learning various cutting techniques. Gina is also a certified Minkys eyelash extension specialist and now an expert in Keratin Complex Smoothing Systems. While one of Gina’s favorite services is eyebrow shaping and waxing, she feels fortunate to have been able to create fabulous hair for over 20 years. Gina is most happy when her clients leave feeling wonderful about themselves! When not running the salon, she is home with her husband and son, planting in her garden or reading a good book.
